1. About These Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of The Stage MC website and platform operated by The Stage MC (ABN 39 152 545 048). By accessing or using our platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

2. Our Services

The Stage MC is a platform that connects event organisers with professional multilingual Masters of Ceremonies in Sydney. We provide:

• A directory of vetted, professional MCs
• Enquiry and booking facilitation
• MC registration and profile management

We act as an intermediary platform. The Stage MC is not a party to any agreement between an event organiser and an MC.

3. User Accounts

When registering as an MC on our platform, you agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activities that occur under your account.

4. MC Responsibilities

MCs listed on our platform agree to:

• Provide accurate information about their skills, experience, and availability
• Maintain appropriate public liability insurance where required
• Honour confirmed bookings and communicate promptly
• Conduct themselves professionally at all events
• Comply with all applicable Australian laws and regulations

5. Client Responsibilities

Event organisers using our platform agree to:

• Provide accurate event details when making enquiries
• Communicate respectfully with MCs
• Honour agreed payment terms directly with the MC
• Provide a safe working environment for the MC

6. Payments

All payments for MC services are made directly between the event organiser and the MC. The Stage MC does not process payments on behalf of either party. Pricing, deposits, and payment terms are agreed upon directly between the MC and the client.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on The Stage MC platform, including text, graphics, logos, and software, is the property of The Stage MC or its content suppliers. MCs retain ownership of their own profile content, photos, and videos uploaded to the platform.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Australian Consumer Law, The Stage MC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our platform or services provided by MCs listed on our platform. We do not guarantee the quality, suitability, or availability of any MC.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account that violates these Terms, engages in fraudulent activity, or behaves in a manner that is harmful to other users or the platform.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. We will notify registered users of significant changes via email.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.
